Luminous Rest

Yoga Nidra & Meditation Retreat

June 26–28, 2026
Paperbark Camp
571 Woollamia Rd, Woollamia NSW 2540
Wandra Wandian Country
A tranquil 2.5-hour drive south of Sydney

Following the overwhelming response and full capacity of previous retreats, we are returning once again to Paperbark Camp to offer Luminous Rest 2026.

This immersion continues to evolve through listening carefully to the experiences of past guests and refining the subtle elements that make this retreat so deeply restorative.

If you feel drawn to join us this winter, please fill out the expression of interest form at the bottom of this page. I connect personally with each guest to ensure the retreat remains intimate and aligned.

An Invitation

This is an invitation to tend to the winter fire—to gather and co-create a sacred container, a space woven with the most precious ingredients for renewal—an immersive experience designed to uplift and restore through intelligent rest that sparks both regulation and awakening.

Together we align with nature’s hum, dissolving tension and returning to the ground luminosity that is always present beneath the layers of the mind.

The ground luminosity is where we touch down when there’s a loosening of concepts—when we declutter enough to taste the vastness that is already here.

Across the retreat we explore this through Yoga Nidra, meditation, diaphragm releasing, breath techniques, gentle Hatha, contemplative Yin, Qi Gong and time in nature.

A unique aspect of this retreat is the way lymphatic bodywork, breath techniques and Yoga Nidra are woven together, preparing the body and nervous system to settle more deeply into restorative states of awareness.

This is a journey of direct experience — a laid-back yet profound immersion that invites us beyond habitual patterns and into a more spacious relationship with ourselves and life.

Yoga Nidra

At the heart of this immersion is the profound practice of Yoga Nidra.

Across the retreat, several Yoga Nidra approaches will be explored, including practices designed to support deep nervous system restoration, improved sleep, memory recall, and overall cognitive clarity and wellbeing.

In the Himalayan approach to Yoga Nidra, specific templates are used to support the brain’s natural capacity for neuroplasticity — strengthening neural pathways that support emotional regulation, resilience, clarity of mind and overall wellbeing.

The Yoga Nidra shared during the retreat will be recorded live, allowing guests to continue receiving the transmission and benefits once they return home.

The Science of Meditation

Meditation and Yoga Nidra are not only deeply restorative but increasingly supported by scientific research.

Studies show that meditation can increase grey matter density in areas of the brain responsible for emotional regulation, self-awareness and cognitive function. Practices such as Yoga Nidra help shift the nervous system away from chronic stress patterns and into parasympathetic restoration, supporting the body’s natural capacity to regulate and return to balance.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This retreat is inclusive to all levels—whether you are new to meditation and Yoga Nidra or have an established experience. No prior experience is required.

Luminous Rest may resonate with you if you:

• Feel the call to reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the living rhythms of nature

Previously, this retreat has attracted couples, family members, and those seeking time alone. This unique winter immersion welcomes all with warmth and care.
