Meet Tash

A Life Devoted to Depth and Embodiment

Tash Pinter is an educator and artist, and a teacher of Yoga Nidra and Meditation, whose approach is grounded in a lifetime of dance. With a Bachelor of Dance and sixteen years in education, she brings a distinctly creative and embodied intelligence to her craft.

Inspired by the Tantric meaning to weave, her influences converge like an energetic tapestry — honouring the full spectrum of human experience and the innate intelligence found in both stillness and creative expression.

Tash is the founder of Luminous Rest, through which she leads retreats and immersive experiences exploring the living wisdom of Yoga Nidra and its ancient roots.

Where Stillness Meets Expression

At the heart of Tash’s philosophy is the power of feeling — the willingness to meet what arises rather than suppress, bypass or turn away from it.

She is fascinated by our capacity to shift between states: to soften and restore, to awaken and energise, and to allow accumulated charge to move through the body.

This exploration finds expression through both Tantra Hatha and dance improvisation, where the body becomes a vehicle for self-discovery, freedom and empowerment.

Spaces that restore and awaken

Through Luminous Rest and within high schools and community settings, Tash creates supportive spaces in a world that has become hard, fast, and increasingly shaped by separation and disconnection. Her approach is relational and inclusive, rooted in lived experience and a deep curiosity about how awareness, embodiment, and attention shape the way we inhabit our lives.

In every space she holds, people are invited into the simple yet revolutionary act of remembering their essential nature — a remembering that restores connection, strengthens inner steadiness, and awakens what has always been present.

May these experiences remind you that beneath the noise of life, there is a luminous ground of being waiting to be known.
