Meet Tash

Guided by ancient wisdom and expressed for the modern world

Tash Pinter is guided by the limitless terrain of Tantra and the Sri Vidya tradition — a deeply rooted and timeless approach to wholeness, inner freedom, and awakening — yet her expression is multi-layered, relatable and inclusive. Drawing from the living lineages of meditation, kriya, contemplation (self-inquiry), and Yoga Nidra, she weaves these with world music, somatic intelligence, and the understanding that movement — when done with intention and methodically — can profoundly move stuck emotions or patterns and become a process of self-healing. Combined with stillness, the great portal that invites us to observe the workings of the mind and become the master of our destiny, these threads form the essence of the spaces she creates.

Honouring the mind, body and spirit

With an intimate understanding of anxiety and the impact of childhood conditioning and domestic violence, Tash knows firsthand how these methodologies can transform one’s relationship with the mind and its patterns. Contemplation — the art of self-inquiry — is a vital aspect of her work, enabling people to see and shift limiting mental habits. She brings over twenty years immersed in dance as an artform and sixteen years in education, alongside ongoing learning with psychologists and mental health professionals, ensuring her work is informed by current research as well as ancient wisdom. Tash is the founder of Luminous Rest, a growing sanctuary and movement dedicated to the science and art of intelligent rest. Through sold-out retreats, trainings, and online programs, she invites people from all walks of life to reconnect with their innate luminosity.

Spaces that restore and awaken

Beyond Luminous Rest, Tash brings these modalities into High schools and community events, guided by the belief that rest and contemplative practice are vital in an increasingly restless world. Her approach is relational and embodied, marked by clarity, warmth, and passion for the wisdom traditions she serves. In every space she holds, Tash invites people into the simple yet revolutionary act of remembering their essential nature — a remembering that restores and awakens.

May these experiences remind you that beneath the noise of life, there is a luminous ground of being waiting to be known.
